Signs

Take a closer look at the highway signs. Everything is written in English, and in a language called Arabic. That's what the squiggly-looking writing is.

Arabic is the language that people in this part of the world speak. Most everybody speaks some English too, so we didn't have any trouble getting something to eat or shopping.
